Top Lines Page Overview

The Top Lines page shows the frequency information for all variables in the survey except system and hidden variables. It also allows you to create and use up to 3 predefined banners. These banners are optional, and can currently only be specified by use of question property tags in the survey itself (banner1, banner2 or banner3).

You can export the data from each table; click the icon beside the table and select export.

Defining a Banner

1. In Survey Designer, open the survey, select the question you want to use as a banner, and open its Properties pane.
2. In the Question category field, type in banner1 (or 2 or 3 as appropriate).

3. Launch the survey.

Note that there can be more than one question per banner, and the same question can be used in multiple banners.

Using a Banner

1. Go to the Banners drop-down in the upper-left corner of the Top lines page, and select the banner you wish to use.
